Minds at work.

A child fascinated by deer tracks might count them, compare them, wonder where they lead, and make a story about what happened.

That’s the spirit of project-based, child-centered learning. We draw inspiration from the work of Reggio Emilia, Jean Piaget, and Maria Montessori, while adapting experiences to the children in front of us.

Educators watch for each child’s interests and readiness, then offer materials and gentle guidance that help an idea stretch a little further. Along the way, children practice physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and language skills.

Many paths into
something new.

Build & imagine

Large blocks, loose parts, and open-ended materials invite children to plan, create, and try again.

Explore water & sand

Pouring, digging, and experimenting bring early science and big sensory discoveries together.

Stories & quiet corners

Books and cozy moments offer time to recharge, connect, and let imagination wander.

Move & make music

Rhythm, movement, and outdoor sound play help children express themselves.

Art & expression

Many materials, many ways to make meaning—without one right way to create.

Notice & investigate

Children look closely, ask questions, and learn from what the world around them offers.

Wondering how a typical morning might look?
